North Star Bluescope Steel LLC is the preferred supplier in the steel industry by being the benchmark for safety, quality, service and on-time delivery. Since 1997, we have been providing hot rolled bands to coil processors, cold rolled strip producers, pipe and tubers, original equipment manufacturers and steel service centers.

Our strategic location gives us excellent access to our customers, as well as convenient access to high quality raw material. We are already the largest scrap steel recycler in the state of Ohio. Nearly 1.5 million tons of scrap steel are recycled annually in our two electric arc furnaces. We purchase scrap steel from over 70 scrap dealers in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Canada.
