Our journey in the steel industry began in 1978. Over the years we witnessed this industry take significant technological strides and evolve. This experience helped us establish GBR Metals in 2006 to manufacture high quality billet made TMT Bars.
Our facility is set up with in-house steel melting furnaces and a continuous casting plant to manufacture billets. Our automated rolling mill enables us to maintain a high degree of control on quality and consistency of GBR TMT. The quality control laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment to ensure control of the entire TMT making process. We have an installed capacity to produce 125,000 metric tonnes of steel annually and are an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization for its quality management.
We believe a quality product complemented with a service oriented approach helps build strongrelationships. Our product is billet made, strictly adheres to BIS norms, is maintained at 40 feet lengths and with over 35 years of expertise in dealing with construction sites, we ensure a smooth fulfillment of your steel needs.
This approach has led GBR TMT to be widely distributed across Tamil Nadu and has made it the preferred choice of leading builders across the state. Furthermore, GBR TMT is an approved product by the Public Works Department for use in government projects and is regularly supplied to contractors who execute government projects for PWD, TNHB, TNPHC, TNSCB and Railways and DRDA. With a wealth of experience in the industry and a wide network of dealers, we are committed to partnering with you.
