  • How do I sell scrap copper?

    I have found a large amount of copper cables and wire on my property. My Dad worked for he phone company for 40 years and he dumped all the wire and cable there. Any suggestions on getting the best price? Do I need to sort it, or clean it? I have about a 4 foot deep pile and I am sorting it by whether...

    Lots of the things we through away people can make money on by salavaging the internal metal parts. But they need to have large quantities of them coming in. I know one company that strips old broken geysers. Some of the old ones can contain a large amount of copper. But they also strip cables, computers...

    I have a DVD player now, it replaced my old CD player. That CD player I sold to a junk shop. I understand they're gonna gut it of metals like copper, aluminum, and steel and turn the rest over to a landfill.
