With the lightening pace of PC tech development, we sometimes end up with old systems (but still perfectly usable) cluttering our basements or garages. What to do?  this is some great web pages, I remember my old company used to donate computer equipment, office equipment and other used equipment do schools in my district. It really helps the ones that receive it.

 I will see if I can donate some of my 15 inch screens, got three or four laying in the store room.

I sort of stumbled into them while looking for open source software. Aside from giving PCs to needy local folks, a few of the orgs also ship them to African and Asian countries for schoolchildren. Your monitors could be the path to something better for these kids. :)

Hey this is some great information actually. Most business like said in the above posts could find this very useful as well as schools that upgrade their computers. I might look back into this in the future if i get a new computer if this one isnt worth much :).
