Nalco sells aluminium at premium

Mumbai, Nov. 3

National Aluminium Co Ltd sold 8,000 tonnes primary aluminium at a premium of $86 a tonne to the average London Metal Exchange price, a source close to the development said. The metal was sold to Hong Kong-based Hongfan Metal, the source said. The country's second-largest aluminium producer recently sold 7,000 tonnes primary aluminium at a premium of $85.50 a tonne. Nalco's sale tenders serve as a benchmark for price of the metal internationally. -
